The Game Awards beats the Oscars by 15 million people!  

One week ago the yearly award show “The Game Awards” took place. This year the show was bigger than ever with nominees, attendees and viewers from all over the world. The total viewership was a whopping 45 million live streams beating Hollywood's finest award ceremony The Oscars by 15 million and an 73% increase from last years show.

Some of the big winners during the evening were the following:

 Disco Elysium winner of 4 awards (Fresh Indie Game, Independent Game, Narrative and Role-playing game) 


KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS Death Stranding winner of 3 awards (Game Direction, Performance and Score & Music)



Riot Games League of Legends winner of 2 awards (Esports Game of the year and Esports event)



FromSoftware, Inc. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice winner of 2 awards (Game of the year and action / adventure game)
