Excellent Blockchain for Lawyers

Excellent Blockchain for Lawyers presentation by TecStack trainer and University of Notre Dame Law lecturer, Chinelle van der Westhuizen at the CPD Masterclass held today at the Law Society of Western Australia, exploring IP, Data and Technology, convened by IP lawyer Clare Mould.  Chinelle tackled the tough questions and handled the heated discussions that emerged especially around the subjects of Smart Contracts, the relevance for the legal space of emerging tech like blockchain, and the hot topic of blockchain-enabled cryptocurrencies.   We especially liked her closing comments where it was suggested more law firms should consider accepting crypto payments for their businesses and legal services.   I quoted one James Irving, commercial lawyer at Irving Law here in WA who *does* accept crypto payments for his legal services...  Was thrilled to see Stevie Ghiassi’s Legaler mentioned her suggested study list.  Julia Buchholz Sophie Amat
