A momentous milestone as Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with AFIN / APIX: ASEAN Financial Innovation Network. to collaborate and promote the APIX platform to the global fintech community. AFIN was founded by IFC - International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group; the ASEAN Bankers Association (ABA); and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and created APIX as a API marketplace to connect financial institutions to innovative solutions from fintech firms, with the ultimate goal of promoting inclusive finance to the two billion people without bank accounts worldwide. With this MOU, APIX can leverage on SFA’s extensive domestic and international network to promote the initiative to fintech companies worldwide. Manish Diwaan, Managing Director, AFIN commented, “Singapore has always played the role of a catalyst in the FinTech industry in ASEAN.
