According to a virtual currency data provider, The TIE reported on twitter that nearly 40 percent of the tweets about bitcoin around the world came from the United States.

Around the world, 38.9 percent of the countries with the most bitcoin-related tweets came from the U.S., 10.5 percent from Britain, followed by Canada, Turkey and India, with South Korea and Japan out of the rankings.

In addition, the following countries have many positive opinions about virtual currency on Twitter.

- Peru

- Malaysia

- Indonesia

- Vietnam.

- Italy

On the other hand, a negative opinion was expressed in Venezuela, wherethe President Maduro launched a virtual currency Petro, which is linked to crude oil. The rate of negative tweets was 62 percent, followed by Mexico, Estonia, Brazil and Ireland.

In terms of the global average, however, the ratio of positive tweets to bitcoin stood at 59.8 percent, compared with 61.5 percent in the U.S., which is above the global average.

TheTIE also surveyed Facebook's Libra, and found that 54.8 percent of the world's tweets now have negative feelings although there were many favorable opinions initially.
