Blockchain's Biggest Issue, "the Need for Online THAAD"

Rep. Song Hee-kyung (a member of the National Assembly's Information Technology, Broadcasting and Communications Committee) and the ruling Liberty Korea Party's Special Committee on Safety 365 will hold a policy discussion session at 10 a.m. on June 25th at the second subcommittee room of the National Assembly Hall.

The forum will diagnose the present and future of the nation's cyber security and explore ways to strengthen its capability to respond to various cyber threats.

The meeting will include following panels of discussions:

- Park Soon Mo, the secretary general of the National Cyber Security Association

- Ki Tae Hyun, the CEO of Blockchain Security

- Kim Seung Joo, a professor at Korea University's Information Science Graduate School

- Kim Heung Kwang, the former head of the NK Intellectuals Solidarity (Previously  Professor of the Communist University of North Korea)

- Moon Jong Hyun, the director of East Security.

- Shin Yong Woo, a legislative investigator at the National Assembly's Legislation and Investigation Department

Rep. Song Hee Kyung, the host of the forum stated, "our country has a very weak strategic base and countermeasure regarding cybersecurity. We prepared the event because we urgently need to discuss cyber threats, including how to build an online THAAD system, especially since the hostile countries are expected to increase the number of cyber attacks."
