CYPRUS FINTECH EXPO 3.0

It was a great honor and pleasure to speak at the CYPRUS FINTECH EXPO 3.0 of #imh #thankyou yesterday and share with you my research results, insights and experience in relation to the rise of #blockchain - enabled Self Sovereign Identity, #digitalidentity and of the right to #dataportability in the era of #GDPR #PSD2 #PSDII #eIDAS, the 5th #AML #Directive as well as the upcoming ePrivacy Regulation #ePR.

The #future of #digitalidentity will be based on Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs) created on DLTs/blockchains as discussed and analysed in our discussion and the European Blockchain Partneship #EBP as well as the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure #EBSI are currently working on implementing the European Self-Sovereign Identity Framework #ESSIF a generic Self-Sovereign Identity capability that is integrated and interoperable with existing building blocks and legal frameworks like #eIDAS and #GDPR Cyprus Blockchain Association Blockchain Association Cyprus
