Digitalization of public sector

The positive side of quarantine is that it forces usually not so tech-savvy public sector authorities rapidly adopt necessary technological changes in order to continue provide services to the public. What in normal times would take years to digitalize, now takes weeks to make necessary changes.

Here, in Supervisory Service we already were quite well prepared to face a challenge to work entirely remotely.

Some minor ammendments needed to make us 100% digital: - All official external correspodence with consumers now is organized via encrypted emails, instead of registered letters sent via post; - Yesterday we held first infringement procedure with some of our financial market companies participating in hearing remotely.

When we will return back to normal, this new normal will definitely be much more digital.
