I'm not even bearish BTC. It could go to $100k tomorrow

I see a lot of social-media commentators blogging about how "This is it!" for bitcoin since the Fed went to zero, kicked in "4" large & Congress waved through another "2".

I think it's a flawed ideology, really.

I'm very supportive of BTC long term but see no chance the dollar will implode or disappear like so many influencers constantly argue. Not trying to pick a fight, either.

I just think a lot of people will get lured into that weak argument and I'd rather that not happen.

Japan's been stuck at zero rates for 30 years, and their currency remains one of the world's strongest. My view is the BTC "top-down" theory is upside down. The G8 currencies won't be the ones to blow up & turn bitcoin on fire; it will be the developing ones.

A currency crisis like we saw in 1997 would likely knock out 2nd- and 3rd-tier currencies like last time: the Russian ruble, the Malaysian ringitt, the Thai baht, the Korean won, the Icelandic krona. History doesn't repeat itself, but you know how it goes.

I'm not even bearish BTC. It could go to $100k tomorrow; I have no idea. I own it so I hope it does. And this is not advice & please do your own research, of course.

I just think weak arguments should be exposed, and I see zero chance of a dollar collapse for a very, very long time. That's all.
