Blockchain in finance and SIngapore's fintech development

The Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP) is a series of programs conducted by the Government of Singapore to facilitate sharing with other developing countries the technical and systems skills that Singapore has learned and acquired over the years.

Nanyang Polytechnic International organised the SCP "Fintech: Opportunities and Challenges" and I am pleased to conduct the week-long training from 24-28 Feb 2020. The participants were made up of government officials from countries like Bhutan, Myanmar, Fiji, Sudan, Niger, Nigeria, Timor Leste, Lao PDR, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

They learned the evolution of digital finance, design thinking, blockchain in finance and SIngapore's fintech development.

Thanks to the industry sharing by Manish Diwaan (#APIX), Carney Mak (#Payments), Rolf Haudenschild (#RegTech), Eldwin Wong (王远涛）(#micro-finance) Wei Ren Lim (#robo-advisor) and Rajiv Madane (#Digital-banking).
