‘Small Seminar was Held on Regular People and Verification and Evaluation Group of Experts for IBEFORUM’

‘Small seminar of IBEFORUM (International Block Evaluation Forum) for regular people and verification and evaluation group of experts’ was held at Doosan Bearstel (Gangnam Station) at 2:30pm on October 2 (Tuesday).

People in various areas with interest in block chain including researchers in hospitals, trainees at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, pre-service instructors, and college students participated in the seminar.

They had a time to more accurately understand IBEForum including the intention of establishment of IBEForum (IBEForum.org), activities of IBEForum, and roles of verification and evaluation group of IBEForum and discuss about the direction of activities they are about to pursue.

Chair of IBEForum, Yoongeun Lee, said, “Evaluation and verification of block chain have become important more than others due to active business based on block chain.” He added, “international expert groups are required to evaluate and verify whether there are any ethical and legal issues.”

He emphasized, “Block chain will be activated even more, and shall be evaluated and verified as well. With verification, we need to create transparent block chain ecosystem.”

One of the evaluation panel member, a researcher in one hospital, said, “I wish for the results of evaluation and verification or research related to block chain through IBEForum to be widely distributed through the press. I want to show the capacity of regular people or expert evaluation group to the entire world.”

One of the evaluation panel member, a trainee at Judicial Research and Training Institute, said, “I applied to the evaluation panel to study for legal research on the block chain. I wish to identify the trend as to how block chain will settle in this group.”

One other evaluation member, a college student, “I joined business foundation club with interest in block chain. There is a limit for me to study in the club as it is the theory-oriented class. Therefore, I ended up participating in the panel as a member to practically study for the block chain. I wish to learn more knowledge from the evaluation group.”

IBEForum indicated to proceed the fourth industrial revolution and block chain, utilization and application of block chain, measures for verification and evaluation through small contract, research on the investor protection system, supportive actions for block chain start-ups, and activities for social contribution from block chain.

Hereupon, they explain that IBEForum verification and evaluation group will be granted with roles of verification of block chain (verification in each specialized area), preparation of verification report, report of results of verification for block chain on the media, research and seminar of block chain, participation and presentation at block chain conference, and verification education of block chain (cultivation of trainees).

Furthermore, IBEForum is planned to maximize the effect of verification and evaluation in connection with Jury.Online verification and evaluation system that is organized and managed by jury panel of verification and evaluation experts from all over the world.
