Decentralization - DeFi, multi-collateral stablecoin and decentralized transaction per second metrics as just some of the areas that help highlight blockchain power in bringing financial inclusion and freedom to the masses. This also reflects in key mining pools' efforts to decentralize their mining resources across other countries beyond China. 2. DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) or improved crowdsourcing platforms - The DAO has returned this year bigger and hopefully better than ever. Discussions took place involving funding platforms such as Moloch DAO, Metacartel or gaming-focused platforms, such as CheeseDAO, to apply the DAO in specific applications for blockchain-based crowd resourcing. 3. Infrastructure - Projects working on Layer 2, off-chain solutions, Layer 1, sharding etc. are mushrooming to enable hassle-free blockchain integration and application. 4. Collaboration (my most favorite) - Bear markets, while depressing, are an opportune time for players and communities to regroup and discuss collaboration beyond development
