Blockchain for impact conference in Geneva

On Friday, I had the amazing opportunity to give a speech at the United Nations and join a panel with Libra Association's COO Bertrand PEREZ, Swiss National Banks' Thomas Moser, International Monetary Fund's Ralph Chami and World Trade Organization's Blanca Zutta (Maurer) on the impact of #Blockchain for the monetary and banking system. Geneva Macro Labs and the United Nations Joint Inspection Unit organized the « Blockchain for impact » conference in #Geneva; a truly great initiative to inform decision-makers of the potential of DLT for #Financial #Inclusion and other #SDG's (Sustainable Development Goals). My speech took a closer look at #DigitalMoney through the lens of #privacy, financial inclusion and #decentralization. I raised the question: "Who should be in charge of the digital payment infrastructure ? Private actors, public institutions, or the people ?"
