So proud and excited that a #blockchain #startup #SomishSolutions that I have been working with since 2017 - has secured a pilot with the Bhopal Smart City (in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India). It's funded by a grant coming via the Institute of Development Studies UK. The Use Case is : Integrating 108 emergency services with police, ambulance services, hospitals and the government control center to provide a seamless experience for people in distress situations. They are using their  product DEF (Data Exchange Framework) for it. The idea is, if a patient calls the 108 emergency service, each concerned department should be able to exchange information on real-time and provide proactive service to the patient such that their travel from the incident location upto the hospital is as fast and safe as possible.
