 I think one of the more exciting platform developments right now is digitization company functions that relate to #ArtificialIntelligence, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), #Cybersecurity, Forensic Analytics, and #blockchain are moving at an unprecedented pace, enabling governments and organizations to harness a vast amount of data in real-time. As #MIA member myself, who is active in the digital asset and blockchain space, I observed that the digitization of accounting functions is disrupting activities such as fraud mitigation, forensic accounting, strategy formulation, and reporting automation, and hence, requires upskilling and business acumen to stay relevant in the corporate scene. Thank you Malaysian Institute of Accountants Suresh Kumar for inviting me as panelist for ”Fraud Alert with Virtual Platforms: Mobile, E-Systems, Social Media, E-Currencies” This session scrutinizes the fundamental principles used for fraud detection, prevention and prediction of future fraud cases using analytics, assessing Know Your Customer (KYC), flagging structure and potential strategies to improve your Digital Trust Index score.
