Brisbane Women in Blockchain Meet-up

After nearly two years, I hosted the last Brisbane Women in Blockchain Meet-up and it certainly was a great one. I (Social Science) talked about how to start a career in blockchain with Karen Cohen (HR background) Chantelle de la Rey (Marketing, UI / UX) , Kaia Myers-Stewart (Psychology) and Madeline Murray (Computer Science). Key messages: soft skills are as critical as hard skills, imposter syndrome, don't feel that you must be an expert in blockchain as you will learn on job, be passionate, be curious and have tenacity. The most important message was know your value. I have so many people to thank for turning up every month, bringing their curiousity and willingness to learn.
