Bram Cohen, the founder BitTorrent, criticized Justin Sun, the company's CEO, on his Twitter account on Wednesday (local time) for being behind in the balance of the acquisition from TRON.

"Is Justin Sun short of cash?" said Cohen, who tweeted, "The balance of the purchase is not been paid from the escrow account."

TRON's Roy Liu tweeted back to Cohen, stressing that "payments from escrow were made based on the terms of the contract signed by Justin Sun in advance.

BitTorrent is the world's largest P2P file sharing service, which TRON acquired for $1.4 billion last June. Since then, the two companies have developed virtual currency "BTT" using TRON chain, and then funded it through the IEO on the Binance Exchange.
