Blockchain for Social Impact

At Blockchain Israel we invest generously in others, so we can ensure to see returns for a lifetime. We believe building great companies requires developing a strong working relationship with its founders: this is why we continuously collaborate with entrepreneurs in order to support them with guidance as well as transparency. Our mission is to provide full access to technology to build and support projects. The Blockchain for Social Impact hackathon demonstrates perfectly that such pioneering experiences showcase impact entrepreneurship at its finest. The winning teams leveraged interdisciplinary skills, they approached untapped areas as token exchanges for teens, the extra virgin oil production chain is broken (up to 80% of the importation is corrupted) and trust in donations (40% of the world wide population do not trust charity organisations as results of fraud, scams). Although blockchain technology implications will be highly challenging for social entrepreneurs - I am fully convinced about the success of this type of events that validates others are seeing the value in what we’re building, our role is to do this in a conscientious, compassionate way that results in a positive impact on society. #socialimpact #education #DLTs #community #values
