- New York Judiciary and BitFinex Exchange.

New York State Attorney General has filed a new document with the New York State Department saying it will be under the jurisdiction of New York state regulators. The New York State Judiciary Department and Bitfinex are currently arguing over the jurisdiction, drawing attention to whether it will result in new conflict.

According to the document, IFinex claims it provided services to users in New York despite being suspended. On the contrary, Bitfinex claims that it did not provide services to users of New York and did not enter the jurisdiction of the New York state's regulators.

New York State's top court hearing is scheduled to resume later this month, and the state's justice minister said the trade platform of Bitfinex was available to users who resided in New York until 2019, citing users' IP addresses as new evidence that Bitfinex was doing business with them.

Meanwhile, it also pointed out that Tether was traded to users in New York until April 2019, even though it was shut down on Bitfinex on its exchange server.
