Self-proclaimed Bitcoin Founder Satoshi Nakamoto, Represented as Craig Wright Submitted A Forged Document to The Court
Craig Wright, who claims to be the founder of Bitcoin under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, submitted a forged document to the court, in which the lawyer Stephan Pali pointed out on Twitter on Thursday July 3rd.
Craig Wright has been sued by founder Dave Clayman's asset manager.
Craig Wright and the Dave Clayman were partners, but Clayman's property manager claimed Craig Wright had pocketed billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin (1.1 million BTC) that he had mined together. Craig Wright claims a half share, but so far Craig Wright has consistently maintained that he does not remember the secret code because the trust company keeps it.
It is said that there is a temporary document of trusteeship that Craig Wright is believed to have forged in connection with the complaint, and the document is misdated.
The date of the trust certificate submitted to the court is October 23rd, 2012, but the file's meta data indicates 2015 copyright on Microsoft Word's font "Carly Defense," which means it is impossible to create this document before 2015.
"The founder of Bitcoin seems to be time-travelling," Stephen Pali sarcastically mocked Craig Wright regarding this document.
Meanwhile, Craig Wright did not submit the Bitcoin's address as requested by the court on April 28th. Attention is drawn to how the case will be concluded, with the judgment of whether Craig Wright's actions constitute as a contempt to court.
