Facebook, Libra Already Experiencing Emergence of Scam and Fraudulent Websites.

With one of the largest social media platform, Facebook tightening its watch after the official announcement of its launch of cryptocurrency on June 18th, the governments are already stepping up their surveillance, and it is likely to require extra caution as fraud sites have emerged to lure customers for presale.

According to Google's service "Google Trend" or social media "Reddit," which graphizes how many words are being searched recently, most of the searches involving the purchase of Libra are about how to exchange Libra for bitcoin, but some vicious scammers use Libra to lure people into their traps.

One such fraudulent site is almost entirely in the same configuration as the official Facebook site'calibra.com' The URL of the fake site is not "i" and is "i" of the letter attached with an accent used in Italian and other languages, making it difficult to realize the difference if you don't look closely.

The design of the site is not much different from that of the official site with all the same marketing materials, phrases, font, color skin, and interactive design that similarly decorated. Even when comparing the two sites side by side, there are only subtle diffrences.

On the top right of the official Calibra site is a button that says "Get Started." However, in the scam website, there is a button that says "Pre-Sale Libra Currency" in the same location. Moreover, 93% of the pre-sale is complete, claiming that clicking on the button provides a 25% bonus for the purchase of the Libra.

Investors need to pay attention to Facebook's Libra-related scam sites as time goes by, since they might be extremely dangerous. If investors pay a little more attention, they might see that something seems off from these scam websites.
