Increasing ERC-based Transaction Rate Per Second, Amazon Enables Payment

The cryptocurrency payment company CLIC and Opporty announced that they have developed a partnership to extend the browser that enables payment in etherium on Amazon, a major online shopping website.

Usually, in Etherium's network, the number of transactions per second is 20, but Amazon's HP average is 300, which has so far been an obstacle to cryptocurrency's actual use of payments.

CLIC, a cryptocurrency payment company and blockchain company Opporty have introduced "Plasma Cash technology," which has previously been proposed by Vitalic Bouterin (the founder of Etherium) in response to Bitcoin's lightening network through partnership. As a result, the company has been able to improve the payment speed. The official press release stated that the payment will be on the same pace as the existing large credit card company such as Visa or MasterCard.

ERC20 token and ERC721 standard token will be added in the future as ERC20 token networks are being developed based on the Etherium network.

So far, applications that can pay in cryptocurrency such as Amazon and other large enterprise brand stores are coming out little by little, but not many platforms offer payments in ERC20 Token.

Amazon itself is not publicly marketing the introduction of cryptocurrency, but more and more applications are accepting cryptocurrency payments and are making on the news headline. In late April, Moon, a payment platform using Bitcoin lightening network technology, drew attention.

In mid-May, 15 virtual currency-payments apps, including Starbucks and Whole Foods under Amazon also announced that it is accepting cryptocurrency at the Conference of Virtual Money, 'Consensus 2019'. Across all of these companies, Etherium is accepted but not other Etherium-based tokens.

Therefore, people are focusing on how CLIC and blockchain company Opporty's development of a payment app based on Etherium will affect cryptocurrency industries in the future.
