BAKKT's Bitcoin Gift Service Decided July 22nd

Institutional investments operated by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) have announced that its cryptocurrency asset platform 'BAKKT' will begin piloting Bitcoin gift custodian services on July 22nd.

According to information released by BAKKT in May, institutional investors are believed to be able to trade two types of Bitcoin (BTC) gifts per day or month during the test-run.

The pilot operation of the Bitcoin gift custodian service is carried out in the form of compliance with the regulatory framework of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), so various process functions will be used, such as cleaning through ICE subsidiaries, risk management, and use of market manipulation prevention tools.

The company will also use promotions to provide incentives to market makers to secure liquidity in the market.

If the pilot operation of the futures deal is successful, BAKKT's bitcoin gift will set a new precedent for institutional investors' participation in the market, which will greatly affect the mass inflow of institutional investment in the future.
