Microsoft Announces TRUFFLE for Etherium Development with AZURE

Microsoft, which is focusing its efforts on expanding its blockchain business, announced that it will integrate the Ethereum development tool that is provided by Truffle of blockchain start-up with Azure.

As a part of ConsenSys' incubator program, Truffle provides software to the test environment of Ethereum DApps. The company officially gained independence from ConsenSys last May.

As an opportunity for the partnership, Truffle's blockchain development tool will be available as an extension of the Visual Studio Code provided by Microsoft, allowing Azure customers of Adobe, HP and FedEx to develop applications on Ethereum more easily in the future.

Because Truffle is also partnering with "Quorum," a private blockchain developed by JP Morgan, Microsoft's latest partnership with Truffle will allow for a series of processes within the platform, from overhauling the blockchain development environment to the blockchain's depot.

Microsoft is also putting efforts to develop surveillance and analysis tools for blockchain and smart contact, and plans to unveil a format and verification tool for Ethereum-based smart contact later this week.
