United Nations Blockchain for Impact Summit

Today at the United Nations Blockchain for Impact Summit we launched the sov.global Development Fund, dedicated to accelerate the efforts of the Marshall Islands towards the Sustainable Development Goals. https://lnkd.in/e2QdtSk After an address from the RMI government, Barak Ben-Ezer, CEO and Founder of the sov.global project presented the ambitious goals of the SOV Development Fund to address climate change, poverty alleviation and ending global inequalities. He underlined the pioneering role of the sov.global - the first ever FIAT currency issued on Blockchain, which is bridging two disjoint worlds: current financial system, serving the "haves" (Manhattan-like) and the small players "have-nots" like the Marshall Islands, through a unique Blockchain solution embedding compliance in its fabric. Sov.global which I advise, is in discussions with many nations who want to follow suit and deploy their own FIAT currencies on Blockchain. Our message to the UN General Assembly is to support developing nations in their quest for sovereignty, including by encouraging the forming of corresponding banking relations - which the sov.global hopefully will bridge. Now that's Private-Public Partnership at it's best!
