PT. Magna Digital Lab (GOPAX Exchange) held its monthly gathering, inviting about a hundred traders, Crypto projects, exchanges and other players in the industry.

The meetup reminded me of most Crypto meetups in Vietnam, where there are usually hundreds of young student traders in attendance. Recent poll held by Forbes indicated that about 30 percent of millennials preferred Cryptocurrrencies as primary investment. Cryptos do provide the unique hybrid combination between currency, asset and commodity which never existed before. Furthermore this indicates that people aged 25 to 35 in the survey believe in the long term viability of this technology, despite its highly fluctuative price when compared with traditional fiat currencies (Bitcoin itself more than doubled its price compared to US Dollars in the last 1.5 months alone). Furthermore, analysis on the recent price surge and its buying volume showed there were a big institutional interest in Bitcoin, reflecting a bullish climate for the months ahead.  Danny T.
