Alibaba Group celebrate the annual "Ali-Day"

On May 10th each year, Jack Ma and his Alibaba Group celebrate the annual "Ali-Day" across the globe. In Sydney last night, Alibaba APAC hosted its first self-organized speaker series "Alibaba Night - Tech For Future", showcasing current AI developments supported by Alibaba Cloud. As one of the many highlights, Dr. Wanli Min gave us an overview of the ET City Brain, which is a crowd intelligence platform providing AI services that can be broadly applied across different areas in society. This technology empowers cities to redesign governance with a data-driven approach. For instance, by utilizing comprehensive real-time city traffic data, the emergency vehicle's response time in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou was shortened by 50%. Such breakthrough allows the authority to take preventive measures to ensure public safety and security. We also had the privilege hearing from Maggie Zhou advising young bicultural professionals to be the bridge connecting China to the world.
