Cybercrimes caught in Japan last year reached 9040 cases, writing new history.

Japanese National Police Agency reported that current cybercrimes, caught in entire Japan, is increasing annually and recorded 9040 cases last year, which increased by around 1000 cases from 5 years ago.

In addition, Japanese National Police Agency revealed that illegal access cases aiming virtual currency is increasing. Last year, the total amount of damage including the robbery of NEM, which is estimated to be 58 billion yen (580 billion won), reached 67.7 billion yen (66.7 billion won).

Cybercrimes, detected by system of Japanese National Police Agency, including doubtful hacking attempt is increasing daily by average of 2700 cases, and most of the access are increasing from Russia or Ukraine.
