ATACLUB- Development of Integrated Sports Platform, Private Sale of ‘ATA Coin’

ATAclub (Athletes Association club, www.ataclub.io, Representative Chayong Lee) building integrated support platform for life and amateur athletes said that ATAclub will be hiring former sports national team members as advisor and discover promising athletes through big data. Also, ATAclub said clarified that they are currently having private sale of ‘ATA Coin’.

 

According to data released by ATAclub in January 03, 2019, although current sports-related ecosystem is active around professional and specialized sports, life and amateur sports-related ecosystem is rapidly increasing recently (as of 2016, 1.46 trillion won). However, life and amateur sports ecosystem is still inferior to professional and specialized sports ecosystem.

Manager Yongjong Chu of ATAclub pointed out that “There is lack of base for activating life and amateur ecosystem. Although life and amateur sports participants have been communicating and sharing information in portal site’s community, SNS group, and forum, there is no systematic management for sports activity and communication and information sharing system in sports media”. 

Manager Chu also emphasized that “There is a definite shortage of various supports for actual sports activities. Also, there is only limited channel for turning from amateur to professional athlete”.

To solve the problems in current sports ecosystem efficiently, ATAclub plans to integrate currently distributed sports communities into one by using blockchain technology. Also, ATAclub aims to establish a portal site for activating sports community culture, provide support gram for life sports instructor, and promote sound development of actual sports ecosystem by managing sports activities of life and amateur sports participants.

In addition, ATAclub palns to support real-time life and amateur sports activity by using big data obtained by operating the platform.

 

Representative Chayong Lee of ATAclub said that “ATAclub will have integrated management on sports-related data for each individual to promote health and support real-time sports activity for life and amateur sports participants wanting joint sports activities”.

In addition, ATAclub plans to discover promising athletes and settle sports donation culture based on the collected sports data.

For accomplishing the plans, ATAclub will be hiring former national team members in various sports fields, discovering promising athletes, and supporting their growth.

Representative Lee also explained that “Ultimate goal of ATAclub(www.ataclub.io) is to solve problems in life and amateur sports ecosystem so that anyone can enjoy sports easily and pleasantly. Also, ATAclub will help people’s sports activity to promote health while contributing to activating professional sports ecosystem by discovering promising sports talents who wants to become a professional athlete”.

 

ATAclub is currently promoting close cooperation relationship with professional athletes and sports-related communities. Also, ATAclub is currently having a private sale of their own coin, ‘ATA Coin’.

Blockchain platform utilized by ATAclub platform is a decentralized high-speed public blockchain platform, AndUschain, developed by Professor Sungjun Park of Blockchain Research Center at Graduate School of International Information Protection, Dongguk University. AndUschain will open main net in February 2019.
