P2 Ventures Commit $50M to Support Emerging Founders through Hadron Founders Club

 P2 Ventures, a founder-led investment firm, has announced the creation of a $50 million funding pool to support founders within the Hadron Founders Club over the next two years.

With dedicated campuses in Dubai and New York, Hadron FC is one of the most prominent founder programs in the Ethereum community, offering events and resources to foster innovation, raise capital, and collaborate globally. 

"Today’s announcement signals our confidence in Hadron Club’s unmatched ability to fuel the ambitions of visionary founders within the Polygon ecosystem, providing them with a gateway to an invaluable network of collaborators and resources to help solve the most important technological challenges," stated a Shreyansh Singh, Head of Investments from P2 Ventures.

The program addresses the ecosystem's current challenges by offering various funding tiers to aspiring founders, ranging from pre-seed/MVP stages with $25-100k to seed stages up to $2.5 million. This approach is designed to accommodate the unique needs of first-time founders, providing them with comprehensive support to navigate the complexities of startup development and raise capital from among the ecosystem's 100+ VC investors.

In the weeks since Hadron’s launch, more than 200 projects have sought support via the incubator, with projects ranging from public goods, RWAs, decentralized finance, and more. Among the initial 36 projects being onboarded, several engaged in a week of in-person co-building at the facility in Dubai. These include:

• Sequoia-backed Metasky: a community engagement platform revolutionizing community engagement and loyalty programs for brands. 
• Blockflow: a comprehensive blockchain data platform designed to accelerate the development of Web3 applications.
• Filament: a decentralized exchange bringing perpetual trading to DeFi with a platform designed for unparalleled precision and adaptability in the market. 
• Moongate: a modular web3 engagement layer for real-world activations that provides NFT-based solutions for event and loyalty programs and already caters to over 150 clients, and serves more than 100,000 end-users.
• Crestal: a protocol that orchestrates data services for web3 builders, which aims to enable the seamless deployment of scalable dApps at optimal costs and address the challenges posed by current data service providers' inflexible setups.
• Poster: a vibrant online platform that connects users through a creative feed where they can search, view, and engage with trending and featured content. 

The HadronFC program focuses on the most-needed areas required to build the future internet, such as app chains leveraging the Polygon CDK, zero-knowledge technology, decentralized apps designed to enable mass adoption, and innovative creator projects. These core areas align with an overarching goal of achieving unified liquidity and scalability, which is only possible through a permissionless and zero-knowledge framework.

Mentorship will play a crucial role in the program, with leaders in the program including Sommelier’s Zaki Manian, Serotonin CEO Amanda Cassatt and Shuyao Kong from Consensys, each of whom has proven their excellence over the years in multiple areas of particular relevance to early stage founders, namely engineering, research, marketing, investing and fundraising. Their expertise will be instrumental in nurturing the next generation of Web3 innovators.
