Staping and Songho University signed an MOU for industry-university cooperation

Staping (CEO KANG Sung-chu) and Songho University (President CHEONG Chang-deok) signed an MOU on November 5th at the office of the president of Songho University.
Staping is the first company in Korea to carry out “Artificial Intelligence (AI) image search service” in shopping. Staping aims to make it easier and more convenient for users to shop by using the AI image search function.
Songho University is a leading university in Industry 4.0, striving for smart city, creating a convergent department, and strengthening industry-university cooperation for the past year to realize the vision of “education economy” and becoming a leading university in smart health.
CEO Kang and President Cheong held an industry-university cooperation MOU ceremony on the same day; the two agreed to share strengths by engaging in ▲people-to-people, resource, and information exchanges for mutual advancement ▲volunteer service program exchange, ▲ joint exchange to find and nurture local talents, ▲ and other cooperation measures to enhance industry-university cooperation.
According to President Cheong, “there are not many cases applying AI to blockchain now. There is a great promise of blockchain AI technology, which is evident in publications and relevant research in Japan. AI image search technology of Staping is highly advanced. There will be joint efforts of Staping and Songho University to advance the blockchain ecosystem in Korea by cooperating in various areas such as R&D and human resources development.”
“We have laid the foundation to build trust and enable win-win cooperation through the agreement,” said CEO Kang. Moreover, Kang emphasized that “to facilitate lifelong vocational training, Staping will continue providing mutual support such as blockchain project cooperation and technological guidance in AI and in Industry 4.0.”
