A quick recap from last week’s event, Consensus 2019

Blockchain/cryptocurrency event held yearly New York. BlockCrowd Financial Group was there once again, and we, as a team, made some interesting observations. The crowd significantly changed in one years' time. It was all suits! IBM, Deloitte, Microsoft, Tata Communications had a major presence at the event. Last year was ICO mania - a bunch of youngsters trying to win the crypto lotto...buying Lambos and quietly planning to take over the world. This year, the rooms were filled with family offices, banks, and institutional investors looking at REAL investments. ICO’s are a thing of the past. Anyone who’s serious in this industry realizes times have changed, a new wave is taking over. Blockchain technology, digital currencies, and tokenization of assets, are a whole new ambiance in the #fintech world. Some applaud the change; others resist. But no one can deny it. The stage is set for BlockCrowd Financial Group to consolidate initial gains in it’s core markets, and continue to expand in size, volume, and geographic scope, focused on some of the most premium institutional investment grade offerings in the world.
