Samsung SDS, opens Ethereum based blockchain platform ‘Deliver’

Samsung SDS opened Ethereum based blockchain application (DAPP) platform ‘Deliver’ targeting distribution and financial market companies.

Samsung SDS unveiled test version of Ethereum based blockchain platform ‘Deliver’ at ‘Cello Conference’ event targeting distribution companies on 14th at Pangyo building, Gyeonggi province.

Developed in association with the Port of Rotterdam Authority and ABN AMRO bank, ‘Deliver’ is industrial blockchain platform mainly used at distribution and financial companies. This is characterized by the application of linkage technology so that various corporate DAPPs, developed in Hyperledger, EOS, and etc., can be used in Deliver. For such, Deliver has applied document notarization, asset transfer, and double payment prevention functions so that they can be connected to DAPPS of double platform.

In other words, it is possible to apply a variety of services, such as banking, insurance, transportation, customs clearance, and etc. by entering the Deliver platform even if it is not an Ethereum platform.

Currently, Samsung SDS is testing Samsung Electronics’ export containers in Europe and planning to secure a variety of partners and blockchain developers within this year.

Concerned person of Samsung SDS said: “If export or transport industries use the Deliver platform, they can check the cargo statue not only by preventing frequently occurred trade fraud through malicious document fabrication, but also by preventing forgery, alteration and fabrication.”
